Merry Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas. Santa came through and brought Jordan her DS! She has been attached to that thing since she got it. She is so like her mommy!

Carson got a train from Santa and could not be happier. We are doing really good and are happy and well.

Jordan wanted her ears pierced for Christmas so I got her a gift certificate to Claire's in the mall and today I braved the crowds (they weren't really bad at all) and took her and she got her ears done and was such a trooper! She loves them! Every once in a while she will look at me and say "oh my gosh I forgot I just got my ears pierced" she is so sweet...love her to pieces! I took her to the library here in town last week and she got her very own library card and now I have a library buddy. She looks totally in her element in the library. It is really cute to see her love something that I love. And I haven't been in the library in so long and I forgot how much I love the library smell. She is reading so well. She reads everything she sees. I think she has picked up the Ward girls love of reading. She also loves to play games with me. We play dominoes, Jr Scrabble and now she got Life and Cinderella Yahtzee for Christmas so we have played that. We got Carson don't spill the beans and cooties but he isn't as interested in those right now. I love that Jordan likes to play games with me!

Well I just thought it was time to update my blog! We have been really busy working and going to school but we are happy and healthy and really looking forward to a new year!

Changes...changes...

Hi....I know it has been awile but had lots of changes...renting a new house. Back in Central Point, which makes me very happ and have our old phone number back (the one we had for 13 years) I know it sounds strange but that makes me really happy.

The kids and I have found a great lake (thanks to my wonderful friends) and love to go there on saturdays. Took some pictures of the kids last time we went.

The kids were sick right before we moved and they both had to take some medicine. We have a tradition where you sit on the counter if you have to take medicine and both had to sit together and pose while taking the good stuff.

So that is all that is going on. Back to school soon...so stay tuned.....

June 20009

I can't believe June is almost over! Not sure where it went. Here are some pictures from our month.
Jordan had her kindergarten graduation picinic. It was a really fun day and the 2 teachers put on tons of things for the kids to do. Even parents did a tug of war---Jordans class won!
Cory is getting his boat ready to go fishing ove the fourth of July. I went out in the front yard the other day to find all 3 of them sitting in the boat in the front yard. Who says you need water to have fun!
Cory's sister Brandee got married in Bend, Oregon. It was a beautiful wedding. Her father and step dad gave her away and her twin boys Kyle and Austin stood up with them. It was held at her dads backyard, which was like a park. It was a beautiful day.

Our month of May 2009

Hello... Jordan and I went to the rodeo here in town. It was a really special night that we went. It was Breat Cancer Awareness night. Everyone was asked to wear pink....The had a special part of the show where they walked around a rider less horse to represent people that had died from cancer. It totally made me cry and made me think of mother in law who lost her life to cancer several years ago and is dearly missed by all that knew her...Love you Cali Anne Deming!!!! Jordan loved the rodeo and even got to ride a pony before the rodeo started. She was so tired when we got home. After she took a bath she fell asleep on the couch.

Carson is doing really well with his potty training. Last night he was just about to lay down and go to bed but told me he had to poop and we went in and he did go poop. I was so proud of him and it is so funny because he is soooooo proud of himself also. I had bought several small toys to give him after he poops. (okay...I have resorted to bribing him!) I gave him a small police car. He laid in his bed for 30 minutes or so just playing with that car before going to bed. He is so cute.

Jordan and Carson played so well together last night (which is somewhat rare around here). The were playing with the stick horses. I wanted Carson to go potty so I had taken off his big boy underwear and before he went to the bathroom he took a ride on the stick horse with no pants on. Of course I had to take a picture. Love that little bare bottom! While they were playing sweetly the decided to hide in our bathroom closet. Which is funny since I could see them perfectly. The funny thing is I very rarely get a cute picture of the two of them together. But I love this picture of them.

Well, I think that sums up our month of may. Hope June is happy and healthy.

Catching up

I haven't been good about keeping up with the blog...sorry..

the kids are doing so good. Jordan is reading and she is so artistic. She colors so well and she loves to do arts and crafts. She is growing up to be such a wonderful person.

Carson is trying the potty training thing again. I know he will get it someday and not really worried about it. He is really trying to communicate and talk with us. Sometimes it is really hard to understand him but other times it is very clear. He is growing so tall.

I hate to brag but my kids are growing up to be such neat kids and I am so proud of them. They fight quite a bit lately, but they have moments where they play well together and just love each other. Those are the moments I cherish!

Here are some recent pictures of our adventures.

Jordan had some fillings done lately and she bit the inside of her check so bad that her face was swollen and I felt so bad for her.
