I have been a mother for over 5 years so you would think I would have the answers. Well, I don't understand some things......I have the hardest times waking up the kids to go to daycare. Some days I actually carry them out to the car and seat belt them in. But of course the day I could sleep in they woke up at 5:45am!!!! What the heck is that about???? Needless to say we are going to be taking a nap. SO DO NOT DISTURB!!!!!!! It is so hot here that we aren't doing anything. We went one place and home again. It is too hot to even play outside at the park, so we are going to be couch potatoes today....

A beautiful day in Central Point

We had a wonderful day. We were soooo done with the garage sale so we decided to spend some time with the kiddos in the back yard. They love to swing! Carson kept throwing rocks in Shelby's water bowl. He is so funny, the other day Cory went out and looked in Shelby's dog house and every one of her toys were in there....We thought it was sort of weird that she took all her toys in there, but today we watched Carson throw toys in there. Mystery solved....So we had a nice relaxing day and back to work on Monday. Hope you have a good week!

The Landers Family Garage Sale!

I thought it would be fun to have a garage sale. I am not thinking it is fun anymore...more like work. I sold some stuff, but still have enough to open on Saturday. So if you are in Central Point on Saturday, come by, especially if you like books. I never knew I had soooooo many books.

Happy Fathers day!

Cory and his kids....of course Jordan has a orange from chips on her face. Still love the picture of them. Cory is a great dad and deserves a special day....

A great day at the park

We had a great day at the park....we met out friends Sophia and Nolan. We played on the playground equipment first then ate some lunch and then went to the water part of the park. Jordan liked it but took some time to get in the water. Carson wanted nothing to do with it. He was tired and just wanted mom to hold him... But it was a beautiful day and I am glad we went. Then we went to grandma and grandpa's for an early Fathers day dinner. Jordan went in the pool. She is really getting better about going in. She use to just sit on the steps and now she uses one of those noodles and even goes in the deep end. She is still afraid to get her face wet but she is really improving... Have a great fathers day. Jordan went with Cory down to his work to do some things. So it is just Carson and I hanging out....

New Shoes...

Yesterday (Friday) I was off work so the kids and I had a very productive morning. After a stop at Human Bean for my morning coffee we went to the bank, Trina's (the babysitter) to pick up a toy that Carson had left and was having some separation issues with, to the grocery store, then to Payless to busy some tennis shoes. Jordan found some shoes she really liked and this is the first time I ever let her get something that she picked out.... So we ended up with 3 pair of shoes. Then went to the car wash and then to Dutch Brothers for Jordan's "not so hot-cold" is how she ordered it. I stop the van and open her back door and she gets out of her seat and orders the drink by herself. It is really cute to see. They ask her is she wants whipped cream and she also says "no thank you" in the sweetest voice. Then she sucks that drink down before we even leave the parking lot. Then we came home and relaxed.

I then went at 9:00pm to the movie "Sex and the City" I LOVED IT!!!! I have always been a fan of the show and really liked the movie. Funny and made me teary eyed. I highly recommend it if you ever watched the show. Sadly this is the first grown up movie I have seen since Jordan (who is now 5!) was born. Jordan and I did go to see "Alvin and the Chipmunks". Not really for me, but she wanted to see it. So I had a very good day yesterday. Today the kids and I are meeting Sophia and Nolan (2 kids from the old daycare) at the water park and going to have lunch and play. So there will be pictures....my friend Laura invited herself so she could take pictures. She takes REALLY good pictures so I am excited about the outcome. I am sure I will post some soon. Have a wonderful sunshiney (if that is a word) day!!!!!

Well, its offical....

Well, we went to see the people today that evaluated Carson to see if he is autistic. And they said he is......We think he is the most amazing guy in the entire world. We are so lucky to have him in our life and we are going to do whatever when can to help him learn. He is the sweetest guy and can't get enough hugs and kisses from us. He loves to snuggle and he is really copying us . Hopefully the teachers will teach us how to get him to communicate and then other things will fall into place. We think he is amazing and can't imagine him any other way. We will keep you posted....

Nothing new...

Picture taken last weekend..Love Carson in Jordan's hat like some type of gangster..

We had a very lazy weekend. Cory went to the dunes with the boys and the kids and I stayed home. We did a little crafts but that pretty much sums up the weekend. It was kinda of nice, to do nothing. But no pictures to share.

We did watch some jets fly over. It was pretty exciting. The kids weren't as impressed as I was (it was too noisy) but I loved it. Carson is really into big jet (something on one of his cartoons) and he kept saying big jet and running to the door. Jordan just walked around with her fingers in her ears waiting for it to come back. We would hear it and run out side. Very classy I know, but I was trying to iron at the same time.

Cory is home now and the kids were so excited to see him and wanted to help him unload. Which gave me a little bit of a break, so I went and got a coffee and take and bake pizza. Now we are just being lazy and watching TV (of course). Hope everyone has a good week.

We have an appt on wed with the people who have been evaluating Carson for autism. They pretty much said without saying that he is. He has many traits that lean to autism. I think he is sometimes, but other times I just think he kooky. He has really trying to talk this weekend. He is copying everything I say. It is not very clear but it is the same length and sounds like I am saying. So we will see what the specialist think. We are also going to have his hearing checked (but I know he can hear). He is such a sweet and easy going kid, he makes being his mom so easy (where as Jordan is very BUSY). I love that girl but she asks sooooo many questions. But she and I were talking today about the different colors of animals and I told her animals were different colors like people and she said people were all the same color (gray). I love that about her. Carson is just so easy to be with. He is happy about everything. love those kids!!! I will keep you posted.
