I am off to a wedding.....

Well, my faithful readers...I am off to Omaha to attend a wedding of a dear friend. I am really good friends with her mom and am going early to spend some time with her before the big day. I haven't seen them since Jordan was small, but they are the kind of people who you can go years without seeing them and when you do see them we just pick up like no time has gone by. They are the coolest chicks! I am so excited to see them and can't believe Jaime is getting married....Don't worry I will post pictures when Ireturn. I am sure I will take just a few...:) These pictures are from Jaime and Jan drove up from California to meet Jordan, Cory and see me. Of course we had a major snow storm, but they were unaware that it was bad and just drove here with out a care in the world. Not bad considering they are 2 girls from Florida!! I can't wait to see them...

The Train Park

Our town has a little train park that is open every 2nd and 4th sunday of the month. It is free to ride the trains. So went early and rode the train and then waled around. The had some small trains that rand around this large track. Carson loved that part because they had Thomas the train. And he is Caron's favorite thing in the entire would...so he loved that part. I was unable to uplaod the photos, so I will try again later.

OUR FUN PLAY DATE!!

We met some friends at the park today. We had a great time. It was the same water park that we had gone to before, except today they had a jumpy house thing (which Carson had a time leaving and Jordan loved it!) and they had a couple of tables set up to do some crafts (Jordan did it while Carson laid on the ground and cried because it wasn't his turn to go in the bouncy house. We ate a little snack and played for a while. I am not sure who was more tired me or the kids. We came home and took a nap (mommy too!) It was a very fun day.

Catching up!

Well, the kids started at a new care on Thursday. Jordan LOVED it...I think Carson did too. Jordan didn't take a nap (too many other kids to play with) so when she got home she crashed. I, being the good mother that I am took a picture of her. She was OUT! I am glad they liked it. Carson is taking some interest in the potty, so I am running with it. I bought him some pull ups and some big boy undies. So cute. I love they way they make him look so grown up. I feel like I have spent the entire weekend saying "do you have to go pee pee?" He is a least understanding what to do and actually lifts up both seats and stands beside the potty. He is so cute. Love that boy. He is really starting to say more words. I am not sure if it is because he is working with the specialist ladies or if he is just ready, or if we are now knowing how to communicate with him. But whatever it is he is doing so good. He is trying hard to say things. He repeats stuff too, which is good.

Jordan starts school this year, so of course she needed her doctor visit (SHOTS!) so I picked her up early from daycare and we went and ate lunch (left Carson at daycare) and then went to the doctor. She weighed 51.6 pounds and was 45 inches tall. The doctor said she was perfect...Then it was time for the shots, she tried to be brave, but it took 3 of use to hold her down. She had to get 4 of the...she was really proud of those band aids and still wanted t go to swim class to show them off. So now she can go to school. We just bought her a princess backpack today. She is sooooo excited to go to school. She always tells me that when she wants to talk she will raise her hand and ask the teacher a question. I have no ideal where she learned that from, but she is ready. I am not sure if I am ready, but I guess I really have no choice. Well, that sums up what we have been up too. Sorry that it has been awhile, but I will try to be better...

Just some random pictures

We were having a relaxing weekend, so I only have a few random pictures. Carson loves to wear Cory's hat, I think he looks so cute. Jordan also was in the mood for posing and she likes to take pictures of me. She is really getting good. We also played outside and the kids both wanted to be naked. It was really cute. We also went to the balloon rally in town. We parked the mini van and watched out the window because both kids had just taken a bath and I was in my pj's. Very classy I know...but I wanted them to see the balloons. So it was a good weekend. I hope everyone has a good week....

Our 4th of July weekend

Okay, I have been very lazy about blogging, so I am behind on the time. Cory and Jordan went to the lake for the weekend of 4Th of July. Carson and I had every intention of going up on Friday.....until we woke up. Then we (the boy can't even talk and I am using him as a reason for not going!) :) thought we would just stay home. We went shopping and hung out and really relaxed. I did clean Jordan's room and washed clothes. So I WAS productive. We went to my friend Laura's annual bar-b-Que. Met up with another friend Kristi and her Darling daughter Sage and it was very nice to sit and talk with her and let the kids play. I ate my share of Laura's famous potato salad and then Carson and I went to Fred Myer and walked around. It was very nice. I did have Laura take a picture of Carson and me because we were decked out in out flag shirts, he was NOT happy. Oh well. the other pictures are of the lake with Jordan that Cory took.
